Properties: white powder or light yellow powder. It is a kind of plant growth regulator with high efficiency, low toxicity and low residue, which can inhibit the synthesis of endogenous gibberellin and auxin. The main function is to inhibit the growth of new leaves, shorten internode growth, increase leaf thickness and chlorophyll content, prevent falling flowers, and have obvious dwarfizing plant type and flower increasing effect on chrysanthemum, which can effectively inhibit the height of chrysanthemum plant, promote crown width extension, increase flower diameter, and make the leaves dark green, improve the ornamental value of chrysanthemum. Butylhydrazide can also induce indefinite heel formation, stimulate root growth, and improve cold resistance.
Usage:
Inhibits the stem growth and breaks the apical dominance(can inhibit the generation of Gibberellic acid);
Inhibits the internodal elongation, resists to lodging;
Improves the abilities of stress tolerance;
Promotes the lateral bud growth;
Enhances or inhibits the photosynthesis, depends on the concentration;
Improves the respiration intensity of root, slows down the respiration of above ground parts of crops.
